Artist's Notes
(Country Living Paintings, Canvas Artwork, Landscape Oil Paintings)
The subject of this original oil painting is a barn on Settiwig Road. Landscape art is a term that covers the depiction of natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, rivers, and forests, and especially art where the main subject is a wide view, with its elements arranged into a coherent composition.
If the primary purpose of a picture is to depict an actual, specific place, especially including buildings prominently, it is called a topographical view. The original oil painting above would meet that description.
The oil painting above is available for purchase.
