Artist's Notes
(Oil Paintings, Animal Artwork, Original Oil Painting )
The subject of this original oil painting is the North American horse. Horses arrived in North America, by way of Mexico and Florida, as a tool of the Spanish conquistadors. Many horses went wild after their riders were killed or escaped from their corrals. Within just a few decades, horses had migrated from Mexico and Florida and entered into the North American interior.
The original oil painting shown above is available for purchase.
